Shruti, RYT 500, Level 3 Sound Healer & a Reiki master is the founder of Yoga with Shruti Studios, based in Clayhall Ave, IG5 area.
Began practicing yoga regularly in 2004, and it quickly became a way to not only move the body but heal the soul. Shruti believes that each person’s time on the yoga mat is an opportunity for self-discovery, personal growth, and ultimately self acceptance. As a believer that yoga is for everybody, Shruti has shared yoga with children, senior citizens, and all ages and abilities in between.
Shruti believes by sharing breath, movement, motivation and energy people can empower one another to be strong and positively focused on and off the mat. Her sessions give you tools to cultivate greater self-awareness and self-acceptance, Connects you with the true essence, inner wisdom, and tap into a wellspring of inner strength and serenity.

Lucinda has been teaching Yoga for 7 years and first stepped on to the mat over 18 years ago. Yoga became a sanctuary where she could just “be” away from the stresses of a busy career in Fashion Production. Yoga and movement was a natural progression for her following dance training in her youth and it very quickly became her sanctuary. After a few years she noticed that her practise had deepened and it was no longer just another form of exercise to keep her in good shape but something had changed in her mind too - there was a calmness and a clarity that helped her to deal with life in a whole new way. In 2017 she completed her teacher training with Yoga London and following many other trainings in various styles of yoga with some of the best instructors in the Yoga world,

It creates great openness in the shoulders, chest, hips, back, and neck, which are the most common areas of chronic tightness and discomfort.grown into a thriving yoga studio with a dedicated following.
It also helps to strengthen your core therefore improving your posture and the health of your spine.
This is achieved through a series of dynamic and isometric yoga-inspired movements with the aid of the wheel.
Some postures are held for longer periods of time (2-5 minutes), allowing for greater openness through a deep yet safe stretch of your connective tissue (fascia, joints, ligaments).
These are alternated with more dynamic postures, performed using the wheel as an aid or prop, helping to strengthen the muscles and increase your heart rate for great cardiovascular benefits.
The classes are all ended with a breathing exercise to relax and detoxify the body: this combination will generate a great release of toxins and stress from the body, allowing students to completely let go of any stress and absorb all the benefits of their practice.
This is a weekly online event which encourages you to have a daily mindful meditation practice incorporating breathwork. This forms a powerful duo for fostering mental clarity, emotional balance, and overall well-being.
